RESPeRATE and lung/heart conditions

Q: Will Resperate work for patients with pulmonary and cardiac complications? I have a patient with tetralogy of fallot and poor ventilatory function related to frequent pneumonias and a smaller left lung.

A: RESPeRATE can help lower high blood pressure even if it is associated with birth defects to the heart such as Tetralogy of Fallot and lung damage from recurrent infections like pneumonia. Having lung and heart problems does not mean the RESPeRATE won’t work to lower high blood pressure when used regularly. The RESPeRATE device labeling encourages patients to consult with their physician if they suffer or have suffered in the past from a number of cardiovascular and other conditions. Physicians are encouraged to visit the medical professional portion of this website for further clinical information regarding RESPeRATE.
