Thank you very much that was helpful and quite a relief as I stopped taking prescribed medication that was causing dizziness during the day and waking me up gasping for air in the middle of the night.

my brother has extremely high blood pressure. Average from 193 over 106 to 145 over 91. He had heart surgery around 6 yrs or more ago. He is diabetic.

I was a little confused on the comments about salt not having any corelation to HBP. I thought that was a huge factor.
