Q: I have recently been told that I have type 2 diabetes. My blood sugar is usually between 97 and 108 in the morning and around the mid 120’s after I eat. I take one Metformin at night. Is there any way to reverse the condition?
A: People who are overweight when they get type 2 diabetes often find that they no longer need medication when their weight gets back in the normal range and they initiate a regular exercise program. The diet and lifestyle changes need to be permanent.
