Q: Having to take 3 blood pressure medications is insane. Whatever happened to the old drugs like: Reserpine? They are excellent for daily control and were the most inexpensive I have ever seen.
A: Reserpine is still available and is still prescribed. It has fallen out of favor as new medicines have been developed that have fewer side effects and interactions. To read more about Resperine click here.
Besides being and outdated prescription for HBP, Reserpine(extract from the Rauwolfia plant)tends to produce depressive moods in its users and this is one of the reasons it has been replaced by more modern medications.
New medicines are developed by big Pharm because when a drug becomes generic the big pharm loses money so they push the newer drugs, and give free samples to doctors . The older drugs which work better for many people are pushed back out of sight. Its all about money honey. many times natural works better at a fraction of cost. But neither the big pharm or your doctor will tell you about natural solutions.I could give personal true life experience and I am in the process of writing a book titled ,”Our Doctors are killing us”>
Doctor you are right
once one doctor gave me 4 kinds of high blood preseure lowering tablets at one time
he almost killed me
I for one would be very interested in finding natural solutions for high blood pressure after taking chemical meds for years.
Tell me more about your forthcoming book. I’m always interested in natural remedies.
Bravo!!!! Mr. Cooke. It is all about money, I’m looking forward to reading your book. God bless you.
I totally agree with Jerry Cook, The medical field is
all about big bucks. Treament is not to make our body well, instead to make the wealthy (wealthier)They went to school and should be paid well for their knowledge.
But let go of the greed, and start think of the patient again. As far as side affects all medicine consist of them
