Q: Having to take 3 blood pressure medications is insane. Whatever happened to the old drugs like: Reserpine? They are excellent for daily control and were the most inexpensive I have ever seen.

Besides being and outdated prescription for HBP, Reserpine(extract from the Rauwolfia plant)tends to produce depressive moods in its users and this is one of the reasons it has been replaced by more modern medications.
New medicines are developed by big Pharm because when a drug becomes generic the big pharm loses money so they push the newer drugs,and give free samples to doctors . The older drugs which work better for many people are pushed back out of sight. Its all about money honey. many times natural works better at a fraction of cost. all about big bucks. Treament is not to make our body well, instead to make the wealthy (wealthier)They went to school and should be paid well for their knowledge.
