Q: I noticed that I am losing hair since being on Labetalol. How can this be reversed and how can I safely be weaned off this medication?
A: The hair loss associated with use of Labetalol usually is not permanent. You should talk to your doctor about changing medications. It is not difficult to change from Labetalol to another drug but your doctor will need to give you specific instructions based on your new treatment plan.
I believe beta blockers can cause hair loss. Since taking atenolol I don’t have to shave my legs or under my arms anymore and the hair on my head has thinned.
I have been taking Avapro (300mgs) daily for three years without any side effects. I see few references to this drug and I would like your insight. My BP ranges from 135/85 to 110/70 and I take it regularly. Are there any issues I need to look out for with long term use?
i would like to use resprate if it is feasible, and not an intricate machinery impossible to figure out.
