Replace regular fat calories with Olive Oil for salads.
There are many articles on the benefits of the Mediterranean diet. One component of this diet is olive oil. It turns out that not all fats are equal, and majority of fat in Olive Oil is a monounsaturated fat (healthy fat- does not clog arteries). I like olive oil for salads. If you do cook with Olive Oil — as with all oils, try to keep the heat low, and not too hot, and cook for a minimal time. Oil when cooked undergoes chemical changes that probably reduce benefit of the oil for health purposes. Despite some Internet sites claims Canola oil appears to be fairly healthy having high portions of good fats, and it is usually lot cheaper than Olive oil. Furthermore, it might even be better for higher temperature cooking. Palm, and Coconut oil can withstand temperatures of cooking better, but unfortunately they contain higher levels of saturated fat. All told, keep down the use of heavier fats and fat based cooking, and use good fats like Olive oil on your salads.

I only cook with olive oil and do not eat at fast food places…ever. I walk at least 2 miles a day, no soda as I hate it and still have high blood pressure so it is not just the oil. Any recommendations?
I understand that there is something like 20 different mechanisms controlling blood pressure. Problems in any one of which could lead to high blood pressure. Have you tried Resperate? give a good 3 months of faithful use, good 20 minutes a day. My list here on the blog of 64 or so natural ideas to help with BP. Have you tried lower salt intake? Getting enough sleep. There are lots of strange things that can cause high BP, even tiny tumors smaller than a pin-head. Infections, dental problems, the list of troubling things goes on and on. Work with your doctor. Good luck.
….your doctor knows nothing=nothing natural. He or she will and obliged to push you drygs, only! That is all what you can “work with yopur doctor”; “talk to you doctor’ “consult with your physician”….dead end… dead horse!
Search for natural way. It is true ;more than 20 different mechanisms are in your body can triger high blood pressure. Find yours; maybe one or two. Tryal and error.
Search the web, there are many many information on it today. It is not an easy task, may take years to find your special solution, reaction. You have time; blood pressure gradually increases by years. Even if you are 65 you still have time.
Do not forget something; Your blood pressure was increased over decades from 115/65 to 165/115 just an example. But, by now your system (body) gets use to it. If you take anything which drastically drops it bac to 125 for example that is a big shock to your system, virtually does more harm than the high pressure. The doctors, and drug advocates saying natural things, such hurbs, vityamins minerals etc. working too slow, may take months to see resulkts.
It is absolutelly true, and that is the big advantage, because you give the body a chance to adjust, and it will. Anyhow, if you are able to stabilze, ie. stoip the increase of your pressure that is already a 50% win, and a very good indication that you are on the right way. As I said you have time, because if you step on the road taking drugs, you might be dead within 2 years, but very likely 5 years and surly within 8-10 years. Becasue every drug haz side effectS, soon after the first drug you will be almost forced to take another for the side effect, Now you have more side effects, You soon need a third , the forth drug and your body will be full with starng, toxis chemicals working against ech oter in your body, and main while destroyingt your body natural ballance, natural chemistry and soon one after another shutts down, and you……..
find out yourself.
i tested grapefruit.it is magice, evryday 1 in the morning or evening.
Grapefruit is fine as long as you do not take it within atleast 90 minuits from any medication, before or after. If you do not follow this, the effects of the medications weaken considerably.
I really apepicrate free, succinct, reliable data like this.
