A: According to studies done in the 90’s, blood pressure in women with normal blood pressure does not go up with ovulation. Blood pressure is highest at the time of menstruation. Several small studies showed blood pressure increases with ovulation in hypertensive women with low levels of a specific kidney enzyme.
