I have been on Lopressor 25mg twice daily and HCTZ 12.5mg daily. My blood pressure has been within normal limits (<120/77). Today, I ate ready cooked fried rice, about 1/4 cup. 5 hours later I got dizzy and when I checked my BP 212/105. The fried rice is packaged by Ajinomoto. When I read the ingredients it has 840mg of sodium per serving of 1 cup. Also several chemicals I noticed. I also ate bagels w/spread this morning.
thanks for all the basic info I can read up on.
