This article gives cute 8 reasons why people drink them, and 16 valid reasons why you should consider cutting back.   As explained in an early post, weight gain, diabetes, and kidney problems are all related to high blood pressure, what works for one of them often works for the others, and if you have one, you more likely to get the others.  All of which suggests that this is complex disease condition with different manifestations.
