(BusinessWeek.com) — AstraZeneca PLC said Thursday that it is now selling the new blood pressure medication Dutoprol, and the British drugmaker said it plans to ship the drug directly to patients.
Dutoprol is a once-per-day treatment for hypertension. It combines the active ingredient in AstraZeneca’s drug Toprol with a low-dose diuretic. AstraZeneca said patients with a prescription will be able to order the drug and have it delivered to their homes.
Hooray for AstraZeneca….yet ANOTHER drug on the market. I wish these drug companies would put their focus and money where the root of our problem lies: Within our food system. Most people in the U.S. eat SAD (Standard American Diet). It is making us sick, crazy, and killing us. Only a small percentage of people care – the rest are just playing the Big Pharma game and going along with it – SAD.
we truly are what we DRINK, and EAT! Sad, but the quality of both supplies are poor at best! We have no protection! The FDA is owned by big bussiness!
It use to be goverments job to protect us, but now they are owned by the Big Boys! We have the best goverment money can buy, problem is,,,, it is not Our Money!! Its no wonder we have so many health issues.
Fully agree with you Mike. How SAD is it that we live in a nation where big profits are more important than the health and well-being of people. SAD…
can i stop medicationB/P, instead TO
dUTOprol?
