Q: I am on coversyl 8mg and amlopine 2.5 per day. With this my blood pressure came down low to 116/72 range. I was advised to reduce the dose to alternate days. With that reduction the BP is odd at 138/66 to 142/70. The systolic remains high with low diastolic. What should I do?
A: It is very difficult to control blood pressure precisely. Symptoms and side effects are used to guide how tightly blood pressure can be controlled. Currently, your blood pressure is in reasonable control. I assume your doctor reduced your dose because you were having symptoms of low pressure or experiencing side effects. If not, make an appointment to discuss this further with your doctor.
Try throwing these medicines in the garbage and taking three cloves of garlic with bread and olive oil every day.
Safe blood pressure control and no undesirable side effects.
For the smell take lemon and/or orange juice, or chew some parsley leaves.

no, take the garlic raw! no kidding. use dark rye bread, no white.
