Q: My daughter has not been taking her meds for blood pressure. She has an appointment 5-1-12 to get meds. She has been taking organic apple cider vinegar 3 times a day. Keeping it normal. Does she really need meds. She is 42 years old.
A: Whether or not your daughter needs blood pressure medicine is between your daughter and her doctor. Apple cider vinegar may have some health benefits but enough studies have not been done to know for sure. To learn more about possible benefits from vinegar, go to this page at WebMD.
That’s great that ACV is working well to keep BP in the normal range. I haven’t tried this yet, but cocoa has worked reasonably well for me in the past. The thing that worked the best for me in getting off meds was to follow a plant based nutrition program along with plenty of vigorous exercise. I don’t take meds regularly anymore but still have some on hand in case of a spike, but I rarely go over 130/70 these days.
Wow!
remember.. what works for you may not not work for him or her but its worth a try..
I would think if the ACV keeps it stable, then it’s probably OK, but if it’s not stable, that’s probably not a good enough solution.
I was reading about Apple Cider Vinigar — Hear in this part of Asia– we use 1 cup of pur honey in 2 cups of apple cid Vinegar with 20 crushed organic cloves of organic Garlic— lEave it in a fridge with tight bottle to ferment for 14 days — and after this period keep it on normal temprature —-have 2 table spoons every day — if acidity have it after meals —- The effect of the vinegar enhances 10 times to lower the blood pressure — Unfortunately all blood pleasre medicines are recepter blockers — witch has great adverse effect— specially in males–Especially interfares with active sex phase
I bought a rESPARATE over a year ago; I barely had a chance to use it–it was NOT a remodeled one–and it stopped working. Life has been very hectic and I have not had a chance to contact you. I aied over $300 for it plus insurance. So, what is your policy for such problems?
I drink organic beet powder-1-3 glasses a week depending on my bp..works great! A small bag in the health food store costs about $3.00 and lasts a good while. If you love beets, you will love the juice-just mix with water..if you dont’ like beets, you won’t like it,but you can drink it and drink water afterwards. Just eating beets will not do what the beet powder does. I highly reccommend this!!
