Q: I’m a caregiver for seniors and people with disabilities. My patient/friend passed away so I don’t have insurance, and wont be getting my medicine anymore. Can Ii take something over the counter or is there something I could take naturally?
A: Tell your doctor you can no longer afford to get your medicine. Your doctor may be able to help you obtain your medicine through an assistance program from the drug manufacturer or other sources. You may be able to get some samples to tide you over until you get another job or qualify for assistance. Go to the website NeedyMeds.org to get an idea of what forms of assistance are available and what type of aid you may qualify for.
Lucky you!
If you could afford it, you would spend the rest of your life wasting your money only to get undesirable side effects and no guaranteed protection against strokes and/or heart attacks, as recent research has demonstrated.
Take good old garlic, instead. Three cloves, raw, diced on bread and butter, or olive oil. For the smell, chew parsley leaves, or take some milk or yoghurt.
It is cheap, lower blood pressure, cleans your arteries, thins your blood, eliminates fat, heals your liver and pancreas, is the best weapon against germs and virus, and, best of all, has nooooo side effects at all.
May you live long and healthy.
Good job,now , to start the program. I there any thing else? How about a niacin, routine , do you know about any ?
Garlic is an absolutely wonderful superfood. I use it daily. As long as you don’t have a date that night don’t worry too much about the odor! It’s doing wonderful things for your body behind the scenes. I agree about BP drugs, they do nothing to increase mortality and don’t solve the root cause. Plus who wants to live their life living in a fog of side effects.
Can all this be toasted on the bread? It sound like a good rescipe I’m willing to try.
Don’t have health insurance then good old Passion Flower tea will lower your blood pressure. Chinese Hawethorn Berries soaked in water and then drinking about one large glass every day will do the trick. Also linden flowers will lower blood pressure.
You can find all kinds of good herbal ways to lower blood pressure at your local health food store — check them out–try them and see which ones work for you.
I take mine by crushing a clove of garlic with garlic press onto large spoon, adding some raw honey and swallowing.
Garlic is great. Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar also cleans blood and if consistent, will lower blood pressure. You can take one or two tablespoons in 8 oz. water a few times daily. Also Hibiscus tea without sugar…you can purchase from health food store. Drink at least 16 ounces or more daily…starting first thing in the morning…..and let’s not forget getting the body moving……exercise…….just walk if you can’t do anything else. May you experience healing.
WHY do none off you so called experts ever mention Mukta Vati GOOGLE IT.
Eggplant water will lower blood pressure. Cut up an eggplant and let it soak in good water for 3 days and then drink a cupful a day. Google it and you will find lots of testimonials about it’s effectiveness. Combined with the other natural means mentioned your bp will be lowered with ease.
How must water do you use?
It’s a terrible shame that people are allowing the drug companies to get rich on our misfortune to not get the true facts on Blood Pressure and Cholesterol prescriptions!! They do more harm than good. Be informed and check things out for yourself!!
I’ve wondered about apple cider vinegar…Is this the
“off the shelf” kind or something organic or specially
labeled?
I’ve been taking meds for bp for many years. I don’t believe I could stop taking it. I sometimes miss a dose. At first, my bp seems to soar and I can hear my heart pounding and my ears begin to ring, although I sometimes have ringing ears even while on the medication. After a while, the pounding subsides and I begin to feel as though maybe I might not need to continue taking it after all. Although I know if I were to climb stairs or first waking up in the morning, my bp would probably be high. Could be risky. For me, using salt or salty foods is a big no. My bp immediately goes up, even when on medication. I take two 50mg tabs of Cozaar and one amlodipin every day. I use to spread it out but it seems to work better when I take it all in one dose. Strange, but I can’t seem to tolerate taking Cozaar in one 100mg tab, yet I can take it in 2 doses of 50mg. I have tried garlic, Hibiscus tea and other natural remedies and they do seem to help, but not as well as the prescription medicine. I think I’ve been on it too long. Perhaps I could possibly wean myself from it, but I’m afraid of having a stroke or heart attack.
