Q: I have anxiety and realize my BP is related to this. My readings are 125/70 to 150/85. Should I be concerned? ECG is normal.I was on 2.5mg triace daily but did not notice any effect on my bp which is a function of my anxiety level. Am I considered hypertensive?
A: With repeated blood pressure readings greater than 139/89 you are considered hypertensive. Your reading of 150/85 is in the range requiring treatment. You might want to discuss Resperate use with your doctor. Many users report use of the Resperate is relaxing.
