Q: What should your blood sugar be? Mine was in upper 30’s. Of course I didn’t know when they took me to the hospital. What are the highest & lowest for this?
A: Usually blood sugar ranges between 70 to 140mg. There are many causes of low blood sugar, including diabetes. To learn more about hypoglycemia, go to this article at the National Center for Biotechnology Information

HI IS THERE A SAFE ALTERNATIVE TO TAKE FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE I CANT TOLERATE THE PILLS AND I CANT AFFORD RESPIRATE THE NEW PILLS EDARBI WHAT ARE THE SIDEEFFECTS I GET AWFULL ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION WITH THE OTHERS REGARDS IRMELIN
I was taking four blood pressure medicines. I went on a low glycemic index diet. Cut out sugar. I am down to one medicine. (Norvasc)
I waited for a long time. Then bought Resparate. It cost two hundred dollars for a refurbished model. This along with diet and exercise did it. 120/70. That beats 180/110. The savings on blood pressure medicine costs more than paid for the Resparate. Try the four hour body by Tim Ferris. Worked out 20 minutes per week!
You can do this!
if any way posible ,stay off the drugs!Try anything and everything. Exercise ,diet, resperate. These drugs for HBP are killing me after three years. They had me over medicated with HBP drugs and I came off half the drugs with out a doctors help. However the two drugs i am taking have a rebound effect when I try and cut back. The side effects are killing me and I a afraid the drugs will kill me before I can get off of them. I am 70 years old. side effects or depression and insomia also have to take drugs for the depression. Can’t seem to get any help from doctors.
I just recently became a diabetic and I’ve been taking medicine for two weeks….when I test my blood first thing in the morning why does if differ so much? I have changed my diet. It goes up and down for no reason.
I also have recently been diagnosed with diabetes and take meds, been on them for 2 months. and my blood first thing in the morning is higher than any time of the day. however it has come down but is never the same. don’t know y. But ur not alone in that.
I have also changed my diet.
I WROTE ASKING IF YOU CAN TELL ME IF BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE ONE KIDNEY THE REASON I MUST BE ON BLOOD PRESSURE THE REST OF MY LIFE? THANK YOU
Side effects of BP meds can be intolerable, make you feel old and debilitated before your time.
Get a lot of exercise. Eat well with veggies, fruits and high fibre diet. Lose weight. Meditate. Do yoga. Reduce stress, Relax.
Keep arteries clear with blueberries, a glass of red wine, salmon, fish oil.
There are many nutrients in capsule form that reduce BP, such as L-Theanine, L-Arginine, Scullcap, Primrose, Hawthorne berries, Hawthorne Tea, Hibiscus Tea, etc., etc.
Don’t go off the meds all at once but experiment with these inexpensive harmless nutrients. If and when they start working for you, you can gradually lower your dose of meds.
When suggesting Hawthorn please be aware it is contraindicated if someone is taking a beta-blocker. It can actually raise blood pressure.
My doctor would like my sugar readings to be between 90 & 115. He wants my A1C to be 6 or lower. I want this too. Stress & Anxiety raises my BP and my sugar readings sky high. I mean SKY high! I also have something like MS, and I believe stress drives this into a flare-up, then BP & sugars go out of whack! I am desperate for alternative help. I believe a doctor named Terry Whals may have the answer to all my health problems. She has MS; was in a wheelchair; Researched MS & her own diet, and treatments got her out of the wheelchair & walking, exercising, back to normal. She is still taking treatments, but has an active life, plus writing books about her Paleo diet, and her own less restricting diet (she says the paleo diet will work faster, and keep people more healthy.) She was headed for a total bed life, and an early death. Just believe meds. are not what they are made out to be. Most meds cause a severe hypertensive reaction when I take them. I have to find other ways. I use a RESPeRATE. Have had it a little over a month. It helps me to calm down; to feel happier; and lowers my BP; & helps me to sleep. I love the way I feel during & after using it. I want everyone to have one and feel that good. It’s cheaper than any pills I had for depression, and the combination of benefits are precious to me. Money couldn’t buy how much better I feel from using RESPeRATE.
I don’t say things like this often!

If you have any old amalgam fillings in your mouth get them replaced with porcelain. The old type is full of mercury and can worsen MS.
