Q: My problem is that my BP is very labile. A week or so ago at work it was 190/100, yesterday at home it was 90/46. What is the best way to handle this? The doctor at work wants to put me on more meds, my PCP doesn’t want to do so.
A: A blood pressure of 190/100 is worrisome. Your blood pressure is not in good control. You need to do something different to get your pressure into control. You should talk to both of your doctors and ask them what action they feel is best for you and why. A trial of the Resperate may be a good compromise. It will help lower your pressure without having to add another medication.
Has anyone besides me found that the herbal tea “Blood Pressure” has helped? I think the tea has done more for my blood pressure than RESPARATE. The name of the company is Triple Leaf Tea. I buy it at a local health food/vitamin store. I have nothing to do with the sales or anything of this tea, just drink it.
I have not tried that one but I do try to drink 2 cups daily of a blend of Hawthorn Berry/Hawthorn Leaf/Yarrow/Linden/Cramp Bark. I also take a tincture of the same blend a couple times daily. I consult with a master herbalist who put me on this blend (I make it myself). I also use the Resperate daily.
I am on Hawthorn tincture, milk thistle and dandilion.. Only three days but they it should lower blood pressure in a couple of weeks.
Do you mean tea or supplements…do you just drink it, take it 3 days a week?
Does this blend keep you BP under control without meds?
I had very labile blood pressure until I realized I was using eye drops that contained a vasoconstrictor! That would be pretty much any eyedrops that are for allergies–read the labels and talk to your doctor. It caused my bp to go up for 1-2 hours at a time, sometimes as much as 50% of its normal values.
I have found the vitamin supplement Resveratrol very helpful in keeping my blood pressure lower.
Hi, Mary St John
I am in Rio de Janeiro and taking RESVERATROL since I heard in a American TV Show. All I am tryng is to scape from STATIN and the awfull side effects. I am im my first year with Miracle(imported from USA) (RESVERATROL). So, please Mrs John can you tell me your complete experence with RESVERATROL? I´ll be glad and excuse me because of my English.
does blood pressure herbal tea work on lowering blood pressure
Thanks for the info on blood pressure tea,I am also saving money for the Resperate however I am doing slow breathing on my own. I want to get off all this medicine with its awful side effects. I already came off half the crap they had me on.
For me the Resperate is litterally a life saver. I started using it when pregnant and developed pre eclampsia. The aldomet that the drs. gave me caused meto have seizures, and almost miscarry. They told me to try teas and to take other meds that almost killed my baby & me. Found Resperate, tried it and said f-u to the meds, it lowered my pressure and was able to go to complete term and deliver a healthy baby. I still use it now almost 3 yrs later and have had no issue with bp. Also it doesn’t leave a bad taste in mouth like some teas:)
I have been drinking decaf green tea for over 18 months
due to diagnosis of Ectopic Atrial tachycardia and subsequent cather ablation 65% successful. One of the side benefits has been my kidney coun t has gone from 49 to 58………………who knows it could be the Green Tea.
I also had an ablation catherization and have a 90% successful rate from the doctor whom invented the surgury for my conginative tachycardia issue. It took many many years before anyone could tell me what was wrong but it has worked out. I am just starting with Resperate after about 12 years of HBP with pills A.M. and P.M. plus cholestrol etc. I’m 56 and so sick of all the pills. I’m hoping this will help some with less pills.
I also had this problem with extreme highs to extreme lows from hour to hour. I went to Mayo Clinic and they discovered that I had clogged arteries to my kidneys so they cleaned the left artery and put a stent in the right kidney and decreased my blood pressure from 9 to just 3. Worth having it checked out.
I am feeling confused, dizzy when my blood pressure is even 159/100. I want to hear some natural remedy that lower the blood pressure without the side effects. My blood pressure stay constantly high, does not vary on short intervals.
Try Coco – It really works.
How do you know if u have a clogged artery in your kidney?? Is there a special test?
