Q: I’ve had a high blood pressure problem for years and cannot keep it under control. I take Diovan 320 mg 1 time/ day, atenolol 50 mg 2 times a day and diazepam to help but it still goes up to 165 over 95 and sometimes more, and then sometimes it bottoms out at 85 over 55. I’m so tired of taking medication, is there something I can get to help besides pills?
A: Regular exercise and maintaining a normal weight really help with blood pressure control. Many people don’t get enough exercise and eat too much. This is hard on the body. good advice plus I would wean very slowly off the meds and start over, they are probably causing other health problems.
Try garlic pills
I have had uncontrolled blood pressure for several years. Medicines of all kinds give me side affects I can’t tolerate..I read where low nitric oxide can be the culprit so I started taking Arginine AKG with nitric oxide enhancer. I have been on it for less than a week and have noticed my B/P has come down from 180/75 to 150/70. I used to spike to way over a
200 and I am looking forward to no more of those days.
